MEETINGS & SPEAKERS

cream-texture.png

Indivisible MKE hosts 6-8 meetings/events each year, always on the first Saturday of the month from 11AM to 12:30PM. We rotate between speakers meetings with community service events.

Speaker meetings feature experts from the community who provide informative on issues of importance to our community—from mental health services to affordable housing and voting right to environmental justice. Videos of previous speakers can be found on our YouTube channel.

Community service events take place on the first Saturday of the month but focus on supporting the MKE community through service and often run longer. They usually dovetail with the focus of a previous speaker.

To reach different communities Indivisible MKE’s meetings are held on the north side, at Kuumba Coffee, and on the south side, at the Mitchell Street Library.

We also host two annual events: our August Summer Celebration and our December Art of Justice Show and Sale.

See our calendar for more details on upcoming events and meetings.

At each meeting, in partnership with Kinship, we collect non-perishable food
items. Kinship brings together people from all over MKE using food as an entry point,
creating relations that will change lives for the better.
